Bet on Soldier: Black-out Saigon

Published by Eclypse
Developed by Kylotonn Entertainment
Released 2006
Genre Action
Misc Add-on

Description :

While the first add-on Blood of Sahara played after Bet on Soldier: Blood Sport, Black-out Saigon takes place ten years before it. The Syndicate still is the main power on the world and controls nearly everything. But the WRF is gaining strength and the VAN still has the control over most of Asia. You now play as Hang Shaiming, an elite soldier of VAN who has been send to Saigon on a reconnaissance mission only to find out that the WRF already has begun their assault on Saigon.

The add-on has four new missions in which Hang fights his way through enemy lines in and around Saigon while discovering that the Syndicate has it's hand in the whole thing, too. There are also eight new B.o.S champions in your way, which you need to take down with the help of your huge weapon arsenal. Black-out Saigon adds two new weapons to the already known weaponry: the Intensive Care which is a very powerful rocket launcher that only has one shot and the Nixen which is the standard assault rifle of the VAN-forces.

World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade

Published by Blizzard Entertainment Inc.
Developed by Blizzard Entertainment Inc.
Released 2007
Genre Action, RPG
Misc Add-on

Description :

The Burning Crusade, the first expansion pack for World of Warcraft, takes the story to a whole new level. After years rebuilding after the Burning Legion's defeat, the Horde and Alliance open the Dark Portal and enter Outland. This new land is filled with danger and adventure for those brave enough to enter the Portal. The Portal is only open to characters level 58 and higher.

Two new races enter the world of Azeroth in this expansion - the Blood Elves and the Draenei. The Draenei are from Outland and having heard of the defeat of the Burning Legion by the forces on Azeroth, they have taken their ship, the Exodar, to Azeroth in search of help defeating the Legion in Outland. However, the Blood Elves sabotaged their ship and they crashed onto Azeroth and must pick up the pieces and go out in search of more allies. The Blood Elves, on the other hand, have come to do anything they can to stop the the Draenei and have little trust for either the Horde or Alliance. They are rebuilding the elven capital in Quel'Thalas and have a thirst for both magic and power. Both of the new races come with new mounts to ride and even new level 1 pets.

The expansion extends the level cap to 70 and the majority of the content is for characters level 60 to 70 with the exception of the two starting areas for the new races that offer enough quests to get characters up to level 20 before heading out into the rest of Azeroth. There is also a new neutral city for both Horde and Alliance to visit.

Additional new content includes:

6 new dungeons
3 controllable flying mounts to be used in Outland after reaching level 70
Arena PVP for those not interesting in Battlegrounds
A new Battleground in Outland
A new Looking For Group interface
An improved Character Sheet

Released 2006
Genre RPG, Strategy
Misc Add-on

Description :

After Sauron's defeat in The Battle of the Last Alliance his most powerful servant called the Witch-King, Lord of the Nazgul fled to the Lands north of Misty Mountains. In this add-on for The Lord Of The Rings: The Battle For Middle Earth II it is your goal to lead the great armies of the Witch-King called the Angmar to victory. But there are also other mentionable additions and changes which come with this add-on:

All six factions from the main game now have access to new units and heroes like Prince Brand a Dwarven captain or the Uruk Deathbringers on the side of Isengard which are powerful two-handed swords-fighters.

The Create-A-Hero feature got a new class called Olog-hai which consists of three Troll subtypes now available for selection. There's also a new feature called "Variable Hero Cost" which allows you to not only customize the look and abilities but also the cost to build your hero as well.

Hint: Angmar: Easy wins:
When fighting under the Angmar faction, build a few Mills. Then, build a Hall Of The Kings Men. Train a two to four Dark Rangers. Build the Armory and upgrade it to level 2. Then, research the Ice Arrows for an extra boost in damage. The rangers will kill your enemies very quickly. Beware of Cavalry units. Train some Thrall Masters with the Spearmen and use them to defend the rangers until you can build up a large enough army and defeat your enemy.
