In 2006 a climatic catastrophe triggered a new ice age on earth. A hundred years later, everyone gave up on finding a solution to the problem and two superpowers were formed: Europe and on the other side the Pan Asian Coalition - causing an arms race. Now it's 2142 and the war for the few resources left has already been going on for a few years, with no end in sight.

Besides the now futuristic setting, the main changes to BattleField 2 are the new Titan Mode and the revised character and stats system.

In the Titan Mode your goal is to bring down the enemy Titan, a giant ship flying high above the battlefield. At the beginning of the round, the ship is protected by a shield which the enemy team needs to take out. To do so, they can either fire everything they got on it or simply gain control over the missile silos scattered over the map. Once a missile silo has been acquired, it continuously fires missiles at the enemy Titan. Once the shield is down, the players have to destroy three stations inside the ship so that they can gain access to the central core and destroy it.

The armory and vehicles are similar to Battlefield 2, but they look more futuristic. There are a few additions and changes. The number of character classes has been reduced to 4, but you can customize them with many items and weapons unlock-able during the course of the game. This way, you can provide your scout some C4 (which is now called RDX) and turn him to an special ops. The assault, on the other hand, can be equipped with a defibrillator.

The whole stats system has been reworked too. There is now much more to gain and the advancements happen more quickly. You can retrieve the dog tag of killed enemies with a knife and look at your collection on the stats page.

Collect 50 unique dog tags on your soldier's account.

Clear Skies (10 points): Get 10 kills with air defense in a round.

Close Combat (10 points): Get 10 kills with a shotgun in a round.

Collectors (20 points): Get 8 dogtags (knife kills) in a round.

Titan Survival (10 points): When your team destroys the enemy Titan, just off to the ground.

Troop Transporter (20 points): Get 10 Titan drops in a round (drop off teammates on the enemy Titan).

Wheels of Hazard (5 points): Run down 5 enemies.

Glitch: Suez Canal: Jeep wheelie:
Get in a jeep (preferably PACs as they work better). Drive directly at the main bridge with a good amount of speed. Hit the speed boost just before you get on the bridge. If done correctly, you should end up with a tail-dragging wheelie for about three seconds.Note: The vehicle will suffer 1 to 5 hit points of damage.

Hint: Goliath:
The easiest way to destroy the Goliath is with the Rail Gun. Hit it when it had been EMP striked.

Hint: Titan:
When the enemy Titan shields are down, attack it. The enemies will be waiting, but attacking the core will help you succeed faster. Always use teamwork.

Hint: Heal faster:
If you are playing as the Assault class, throw one medkit on the ground and hold one in your hands to heal twice as fast.

Hint: Easier revive:
An easy way to revive someone is to cover then with smoke. Then try to revive the person about two or three seconds later.

Description :

You play as Tommy Vercetti,a gangster who just got off a fifteen year prison sentence for not squealing on your friends. Because you didn't rat out your "family", you're sent to work with Sonny Forelli, your previous boss. Sonny gives you an easy drug job, but everything goes wrong, and Tommy loses everything. Upon returning to Sonny, he gets mad and wants his money back. Unfortunately, everybody in ViceCity, from gangsters and Cubans to bikers and politicians are in his way, and it's up to Tommy to clear a path.

GTA:VC takes everything from GTAIII and builds upon it. There are new cars in the game, reminiscent of cars from the 80s. Some cars are earlier versions of the vehicles you drove in GTAIII. New to VC is the ability to drive motorcycles. You can drive a variety of two-wheeled vehicles, from huge Harley-esque bikes to dirt bikes to your standard motorcycle.

Flying is also a bigger part of VC. You can now fly helicopters, traveling from area to area, landing on helipads on top of towering skyscrapers.

Weapons are, more or less, the same as in GTAIII, but the addition of melee weapons spices it up a little. You can use riot batons, crowbars, and a few others.

Trivia :

• GTA:VC was a massive success for Rockstar. Electronics Boutique sold more than 500,000 copies on the game's first day of release, and more 250,000 in the UK.

• After the game has been banned in Germany, publisher Take 2 released a new, censored version. Rated 16, you can recognize the edited game by its white edges on the cover.

• Windows version of this game was accidentally put on shelves 5 days before right release date.After that many gameshops put out this game 1 or 2 days before right release date.

• The second Rockstar Logo sequence that appears before each game pays homage to the Commodore 64. The blue on blue screen, the quality of the music, and even the load command accurately model the most popular home computer (especially for gaming) in the late eighties.

1. If this code is enabled when there is damage on your car, the meter will be reset to zero without changing the visible effects of the damage.
2. You will not be able to fly a helicopter correctly when this code is activated.
3. Also, if you change your appearance, you cannot pick up any "shirt icons" (at Rafael's, Laundromat, Collars and Cuffs, etc.) or the game will freeze. You cannot change into a pedestrian costume while in a vehicle or in a special outfit (you must get "street" clothes).
4. The women will drop guns when they are killed.
5. Aim your gun at someone and they will attack your target.
6. To increase the effect of this code, enable it, go to the pause menu, select "Load Game", choose any game, then enable the code again and repeat as desired.
